Description

Simple to make, this can be prepared in advance in a certain quantity. It can be cooked in hot syrup and will not burn even after boiling for 2 hours. When paired with peanut powder or sesame powder, it becomes roasted mochi.

Recipe :

1. Mix 100g Tangyuan premix with 90g water and 14g salad oil, stirring well to form a dough.

2. Take an appropriate amount of mochi balls and roll them into spheres, set aside.

3. Cook the mochi balls in boiling syrup until they float to the surface, then scoop them out. Sprinkle with peanut powder or sesame powder to taste.

4. You can also add fillings to the mochi balls before cooking them in boiling water until they float to the surface.

Storage : Store in a cool, dry place for up to one year.

Finished Product Storage : Fresh dough can be frozen for up to 6 months.
